Wildlife in the Rhins of Galloway

There is an abundance of wildlife in the Rhins of Galloway. You can spot roe deer up close, enjoy seeing red squirrels racing up and down trees (Aldouran wetland garden is a fabulous place for seeing red squirrels), hares, rabbits and many birds, flora and fauna.

The Mull of Galloway is one of the best places in Dumfries and Galloway for spotting porpoises and dolphins and watch out for the diving gannets, puffins, kittiwake and lots more.

There are guided walks available during the season with the RSPB ranger at the Mull of Galloway and there are many other wildlife events throughout the region.
