We’re thrilled to mark the remarkable 10th anniversary of the community purchase of the Mull of Galloway, and we want to share this milestone with our wonderful residents, visitors and staff.

On Tuesday, July 4th, we invite you to take a trip to the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse. Come and immerse yourself in the captivating history and breathtaking views that the Mull of Galloway offers.  Visit the RSPB centre and find out more about the birds that call the Mull home and pop into the Gallie Craig Coffee House for a bite to eat.  Find out more about the history of the lighthouse and why we, as a community, were so keen to preserve this special place for future generations to enjoy.

On this special day, you can take advantage of visiting the exhibition and lighthouse without feeling the need to make a donation.  We will be sharing a delightful celebration cake around 1:30 pm as just a small way for us to express our gratitude for the unwavering support our community and visitors have shown us throughout the years.

Our main aim on this day however is to mark the occasion and announce a series of events throughout the year, designed to celebrate the work done so far and to benefit both residents and visitors to the Mull of Galloway.

Please note that this is not a formal event, simply an opportunity for everyone to appreciate both the beauty of the Mull of Galloway and the achievements of the past decade, and to look ahead to the future.  Hope to see you there!
