Hideki Noguchi, Mull of Galloway Board Members and Northern Lighthouse Board Officers at the Mull of GallowayThis week, the Mull of Galloway Trust and the Northern Lighthouse Board have been very happy to host a visit by Mr Hideki Noguchi, the Chair of the Digital Technologies Committee of the IALA (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities). Coming from Japan, a country with its own long history of lighthouses, many designed and built by the Scottish engineer R H Brunton in the 19th century, Mr Noguchi met with some of the board members of the Mull of Galloway Trust as well as two officers from the Northern Lighthouse Board.
